بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلْعَٰدِيَٰتِ ضَبْحًۭا ﴿1﴾

ان گھوڑوں کی قسم جو ہانپتے ہوئے دوڑتے ہیں

By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.)

فَٱلْمُورِيَٰتِ قَدْحًۭا ﴿2﴾
Ahmed Ali
پھر (پتھر پر) ٹاپ مار کر آگ جھاڑتے ہیں
Ahmed Raza Khan
Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire.
Arberry
by the strikers of fire,
فَٱلْمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبْحًۭا ﴿3﴾
Ahmed Ali
پھر صبح کے وقت دھاوا کرتے ہیں
Ahmed Raza Khan
And by oath of those who raid at dawn.
Arberry
by the dawn-raiders
فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِۦ نَقْعًۭا ﴿4﴾
Ahmed Ali
پھر اس وقت غبار اُڑاتے ہیں
Ahmed Raza Khan
So thereupon raising dust.
Arberry
blazing a trail of dust,
فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِۦ جَمْعًا ﴿5﴾
Ahmed Ali
پھر اس وقت دشمنوں کی جماعت میں جا گھستے ہیں

Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army.
Arberry
cleaving there with a host!
إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٌۭ ﴿6﴾
Ahmed Ali
بے شک انسان اپنے رب کا بڑا ناشکرا ہے
Ahmed Raza Khan
Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord.
Arberry
Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord,
وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌۭ ﴿7﴾
Ahmed Ali
اوربے شک وہ اس بات پر خود شاہد ہے
Ahmed Raza Khan
And indeed he himself is a witness to it.
Arberry
and surely he is a witness against that!
وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ ﴿8﴾
Ahmed Ali
اوربے شک وہ مال کی محبت میں بڑا سخت ہے
Ahmed Raza Khan
And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme.
Arberry
Surely he is passionate in his love for good things.
۞ أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ ﴿9﴾
Ahmed Ali
پس کیا وہ نہیں جانتا جب اکھاڑا جائے گا جو کچھ قبروں میں ہے

So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised,
Arberry
Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown,
وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ ﴿10﴾
Ahmed Ali
اورجو دلوں میں ہے وہ ظاہر کیا جائے گا
Ahmed Raza Khan
And all what lies in the breasts is opened –

and that which is in the breasts is brought out --
إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لَّخَبِيرٌۢ ﴿11﴾

بے شک ان کا رب ان سے اس دن خوب خبردار ہو گا
Ahmed Raza Khan
On that day their Lord surely knows all about them!
Arberry
surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them!
