بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ سَبِّحِ ٱسْمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلْأَعْلَى ﴿1﴾

اپنے رب کے نام کی تسبیح کیا کر جو سب سے اعلیٰ ہے

ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ ﴿2﴾
Ahmed Ali
وہ جس نے پیدا کیا پھر ٹھیک بنایا
Ahmed Raza Khan
The One Who created, and then made proper.
Arberry
who created and shaped,
وَٱلَّذِى قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ ﴿3﴾
Ahmed Ali
اور جس نے اندازہ ٹھہرایا پھر راہ دکھائی
Ahmed Raza Khan
And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided.
Arberry
who determined and guided,
وَٱلَّذِىٓ أَخْرَجَ ٱلْمَرْعَىٰ ﴿4﴾
Ahmed Ali
اور وہ جس نے چارہ نکالا
Ahmed Raza Khan
The One Who produced pasture.
Arberry
who brought forth the pasturage
فَجَعَلَهُۥ غُثَآءً أَحْوَىٰ ﴿5﴾
Ahmed Ali
پھر اس کو خشک چورا سیاہ کر دیا

Then made it dry and dark.
Arberry
then made it a blackening wrack.
سَنُقْرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنسَىٰٓ ﴿6﴾
Ahmed Ali
البتہ ہم آپ کو پڑھائیں گے پھر آپ نہ بھولیں گے
Ahmed Raza Khan
We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget.
Arberry
We shall make thee recite, to forget not
إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلْجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ ﴿7﴾
Ahmed Ali
مگر جو الله چاہے بے شک وہ ہرظاہر اور چھپی بات کو جانتا ہے
Ahmed Raza Khan
Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed.
Arberry
save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden.
وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ ﴿8﴾
Ahmed Ali
اور ہم آپ کو آسان شریعت کے سمجھنے کی توفیق دیں گے
Ahmed Raza Khan
And We shall create the means of ease for you.
Arberry
We shall ease thee unto the Easing.
فَذَكِّرْ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ ﴿9﴾
Ahmed Ali
پس آپ نصیحت کیجیئے اگر نصیحت فائدہ دے
Ahmed Raza Khan
Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial.
Arberry
Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits,
سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخْشَىٰ ﴿10﴾
Ahmed Ali
جو الله سے ڈرتا ہے وہ جلدی سمجھ جائے گا
Ahmed Raza Khan
Soon whoever fears will heed advice.
Arberry
and he who fears shall remember,
وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَشْقَى ﴿11﴾
Ahmed Ali
اور اس سے بڑا بدنصیب الگ رہے گا
Ahmed Raza Khan
And the most wicked will stay away from it.
Arberry
but the most wretched shall flout it,
ٱلَّذِى يَصْلَى ٱلنَّارَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ ﴿12﴾
Ahmed Ali
جو سخت آگ میں داخل ہوگا
Ahmed Raza Khan
The one who will enter the biggest fire.
Arberry
even he who shall roast in the Great Fire,
ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَىٰ ﴿13﴾
Ahmed Ali
پھر اس میں نہ تو مرے گا اور نہ جیئے گا
Ahmed Raza Khan
Then he neither dies in it, nor lives.
Arberry
then he shall neither die therein, nor live.
قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ ﴿14﴾
Ahmed Ali
بے شک وہ کامیاب ہوا جو پاک ہو گیا
Ahmed Raza Khan
Indeed successful is the one who became pure.
Arberry
Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself,
وَذَكَرَ ٱسْمَ رَبِّهِۦ فَصَلَّىٰ ﴿15﴾
Ahmed Ali
اور اپنے رب کا نام یاد کیا پھر نماز پڑھی
Ahmed Raza Khan
And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer.
Arberry
and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays.
بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا ﴿16﴾
Ahmed Ali
بلکہ تم تودنیا کی زندگی کو ترجیح دیتے ہو
Ahmed Raza Khan
But rather you prefer the life of this world!
Arberry
Nay, but you prefer the present life;
وَٱلْءَاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌۭ وَأَبْقَىٰٓ ﴿17﴾
Ahmed Ali
حالانکہ آخرت بہتر اور زیادہ پائدار ہے
Ahmed Raza Khan
Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting.
Arberry
and the world to come is better, and more enduring.
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَفِى ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلْأُولَىٰ ﴿18﴾
Ahmed Ali
بے شک یہی پہلے صحیفوں میں ہے
Ahmed Raza Khan
Indeed this is in the former scriptures.
Arberry
Surely this is in the ancient scrolls,
صُحُفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ ﴿19﴾
Ahmed Ali
(یعنی) ابراھیم اور موسیٰ کے صحیفوں میں

In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa.

the scrolls of Abraham and Moses.
