بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ أَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى يُكَذِّبُ بِٱلدِّينِ ﴿1﴾
Ahmed Ali
کیا آپ نے اس کو دیکھا جو روزِ جرا کو جھٹلاتا ہے
Ahmed Raza Khan
Just look at him, who belies the religion!
Arberry
Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom?
فَذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِى يَدُعُّ ٱلْيَتِيمَ ﴿2﴾
Ahmed Ali
پس وہ وہی ہے جو یتیم کو دھکے دیتا ہے
Ahmed Raza Khan
So it is he, who pushes away the orphan,
Arberry
That is he who repulses the orphan
وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلْمِسْكِينِ ﴿3﴾
Ahmed Ali
اور مسکین کو کھانا کھلانے کی ترغیب نہیں دیتا
Ahmed Raza Khan
And does not urge to feed the needy.
Arberry
and urges not the feeding of the needy.
فَوَيْلٌۭ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ ﴿4﴾
Ahmed Ali
پس ان نمازیوں کے لیے ہلاکت ہے

So ruin is to those offerers of prayer –
Arberry
So woe to those that pray
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَن صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ ﴿5﴾
Ahmed Ali
جو اپنی نماز سے غافل ہیں
Ahmed Raza Khan
Those who are neglectful of their prayer.
Arberry
and are heedless of their prayers,
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَآءُونَ ﴿6﴾
Ahmed Ali
جو دکھلاوا کرتے ہیں
Ahmed Raza Khan
Those who make a display (of their deeds).
Arberry
to those who make display
وَيَمْنَعُونَ ٱلْمَاعُونَ ﴿7﴾
Ahmed Ali
اور برتنے کی چیز تک روکتے ہیں
Ahmed Raza Khan
And do not let others ask for small utilities.
Arberry
and refuse charity.
