106:1

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ لِإِيلَٰفِ قُرَيْشٍ

For the accustomed security of the Quraysh[1996] -

ⓘ Translation source[1996] i.e., the honor and reputation Allāh had given them as guardians of the Holy Kaʿbah, which allowed them to travel without fear of being harmed.
106:2

إِۦلَٰفِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ ٱلشِّتَآءِ وَٱلصَّيْفِ

Their accustomed security [in] the caravan of winter and summer[1997] -

ⓘ Translation source[1997] i.e., the trading caravans that traveled south in winter and north in summer.
106:3

فَلْيَعْبُدُوا۟ رَبَّ هَٰذَا ٱلْبَيْتِ

Let them worship the Lord of this House,[1998]

ⓘ Translation source[1998] i.e., the Kaʿbah.
106:4

ٱلَّذِىٓ أَطْعَمَهُم مِّن جُوعٍۢ وَءَامَنَهُم مِّنْ خَوْفٍۭ

Who has fed them, [saving them] from hunger and made them safe, [saving them] from fear.
